About ME

I am the owner and operator of Always Forward Counseling Services, LLC. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Ferris State University, as well as a Bachelor of Applied Arts in both Family Studies and Sociology from Central Michigan University. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, as well as a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

I offer individualized outpatient therapy services for a wide variety of needs, including but not limited to drug and alcohol addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and relapse prevention. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy interventions. I also have extensive experience collaborating with court systems.

I grew up in the Central Michigan area and take great pride in serving my local community. I believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and I strive to embody these values in every interaction. I believe my strengths include my authenticity, relatability, and my empathy. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and working on classic cars. I also enjoy watching movies, reading comics, and watching college and professional sports.
